Baby, It's Cold Outside

It's that time of year for me...the novelty of snow and cold weather has come and gone.  The spring catalogs and magazines have started to arrive and all I can think about is Spring Break (still 8 weeks away!)

Here in the Creative Department, we just finished our new Custom Catalog as well as our new Off-the-Shelf offerings and we are so excited!  Now it is time for a little spring cleaning and then onto creating products for our Everyday Personalization Program.

Do you have this book?  Have you ever seen it?  I love it... Not only are the images fabulous, but I learned quite a bit about the history of fashion!

My mom gave it to me for Christmas (she found it at Anthropologie) and I just love the illustrations by Chesley McLaren.  They are so fun and funky!  Here is just one page to show you what's in store for you...

Happy 2010 to everyone!  Here at Boatman Geller, we started off the new year working on new Off-the-Shelf designs and our new Custom Catalog that will be hitting stores the end of the month!  We thought you might like a sneak peek at some of what we have been working on...

In the Creative Department, we often talk about the Alice in Wonderland rabbit hole that the internet is.  A click here, a blog there and you never know where you will end up! We are amazed at the wonderful websites and blogs we happen upon and we are going to start sharing them here.  Some of these you may be familiar with and maybe we will surprise you with some too!

During the process of designing new moving announcements I stumbled across this blog (google search "house"!) How have I existed without this fabulous blog for so long?! I have just started exploring Julia's blog, hookedonhouses.net and can't wait to have more time to look through the images. Love the the movie houses (like everyone else I am obsessed with the house from Something's Gotta Give) and I think the MLS photos are a great laugh. Enjoy!!
