Cocktails Before Lunch

Ok, not really. But I am a bit distracted. The sun is shining, the air is warm... and I have been working on our NEW invitations. The question is, cold beer, tangy margarita or refreshing mint julep? What's your preference?

Spring Break

Well it feels as if I have been left behind in Indianapolis this past week as most everyone takes off for a spring vacation.

I have stayed behind with our youngest so that I can work on the upcoming new catalogs filled with fabulous new designs!

The perks?

- Living like I am single again (I think I am up to 5 empty coffee mugs in our master bath)
- Sharing cold beers with one of my best friends Jen who was in town from Chicago
- Watching Julie & Julia in bed with our 3 year old late last night (loved it!)
- Delicious warm and sunny weather!
- Having my Mom and Dad close by so they can help out with "babysitting" and just to hang out
- An unexpected bit of fun press... I'll post in my next blog!

What we've been doing...

Wow...it has been a while since we posted!  We have been madly at work designing our new products.  Here's a peek at some of our new cards for babies & children...

Happy March!

I know that there is still snow on the ground and the temperatures are still are in the 30's but that's ok with me...why?  Because today is March 1st!  It really doesn't matter what is happening outside on March 1st, only what's happening in my mind.  March 1st means that spring is just around the corner (it may be a long corner but a corner nonetheless!) When I left the house today, the air felt different and there were birds singing.  This morning the weatherman said we would be in the mid 40's by the end of the week which is good news!  Have you ever noticed how warm 45 degrees feels in winter and how cold it feels in fall?

Today also marks the change of my clothing choices...more pink and less brown.  Lots of layers but in bright colors - whatever it takes to get through these last gray days of winter!
