I Spy on Nantucket...
Do you remember the "I spy" game? Maybe you still play it with your little ones. We have been playing a lot of "I spy" when out to eat or waiting for something... anything to keep our four year old engaged! I realized as I was photographing the things that caught my eye on Nantucket I was playing the game with myself... I spy an anchor... I spy pink... So I decided to post some "I Spy" images that inspire me. The first up was the most difficult to find on island - but a favorite of mine - yellow!

Around Town
There are so many inspiring images to take in as I enjoy the Island of Nantucket. All the gorgeous roses blooming everywhere are calling to me to design a new rose pattern!

Locks of Love - A post from Becky
Are you familiar with the organization, Locks of Love? I am so impressed - this is an excerpt from their website:
Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.
I am also proud to say that my 14 year old daughter, Sarah, had 11" of her hair cut off and donated it to Locks of Love. Sarah has always been blessed with beautiful red hair and a while ago we started talking about her doing this. She has been growing it out (you need at least 10" to cut off) and then she wanted it long enough that it could be styled! Last week she went to the Bobby Cooper Salon in Indianapolis where her hairdresser, McKenzie, chopped it off! I have to admit, it made me weepy. I have posted before and after pictures as well of some shots of the cut.
Unfortunately, highlighted hair (I've been highlighting mine since high school!) cannot be donated but colored hair can so if it so moves you, check out their website and see what Locks of Love is all about!

National Stationery Show Shout Out: 2 AND 3!
What was I thinking when I decided I would have time for 3 leisurely posts about the show?! I think it was because I was still riding the wave of such a fantastic show experience. I blogged about our neighbors at the National Stationery Show (NSS) and really wanted to follow through with a post about old friends / new friends.
A big thanks to all of our accounts that came to see us this year! Of course we are also grateful to the new Boatman Geller accounts that picked up our line at the show.
Below is a quick list of the exhibitors that we always love to see at the show or enjoyed meeting this year. Visit their websites and see what makes them so special...
Jack and Lulu
Adore Julie and LOVE their new nautical goods!
Lifeguard Press
Todd and Kim are the genius behind the Lilly Pulitzer and Jonathan Adler stationery and gift lines. Yum...Fun times with Natalie!
Dinky Designs
Denise Schroeck Albright of Dinky Designs is one of the funniest people I have ever met!
Hen and Barley
Loved meeting Jenny Morgan, also the mastermind behind a fabulous group - A Fresh Bunch
Mayfair Lane
Founder and owner Sue moves more into the family category as she used to work with us at BG and lives close by! Our kids are crazy for her light ups!
Fontaine Maury
Wonderful getting to know Haile - she is doing some really delicious things!
Printswell
A big Congrats to Ralph and Anne and everyone at Printswell for all the great stuff they have going on!
American Stationery
Fellow Hoosiers and a big support to all of us at BG. Thank you!
Whitney English
So nice to get to know Whitney Kolb better - all of the English Paper brands looked great at the show!
Across the Line Cards
Founder Lynn Feltner and her sister were generous enough to let us jump in their cab one rainy night leaving Javits. The cab ride was as funny as her cards!
